<p>The invention relates to a masonry block having a sandwich-type structure which alternates rigid materials, such as concrete, with insulating materials, such as polystyrene, meant to be used for making bearing walls or semi-bearing walls having improved heat- and sound-insulating properties. According to the invention, the masonry block comprises two layers of insulating material, between which there is placed a concrete layer, they being joined together by some strips, two spacers (5) of welded wire mesh, with spacing and reinforcing function, being lengthwise interposed between the two elements (2, 6) made of different materials, while, on the external face (A, B) of one insulating element (2, 6) there is placed a rectangular frame (4) of welded wire mesh, to strengthen the edges of said element (2), the so formed assembly, joined by strips (3), being finally introduced into the mould, with a view to casting the concrete (1).</p> |
