A door (1) threshold has a profile (6, 6a) with a step-like upwards projection (7.1, 22.1) in the same plane as the door, and translating to a profiled outer face moulding (6.1, 6a.1). The moulding has a supplementary profile (12, 12a) that is fixed to the threshold upper face (6, 6a) to form a ramp to the threshold. (7.1, 22.1).
