PURPOSE: A method for maintaining an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) survivable network, an SIP active communication device, and a computer readable medium are provided to register an SIP end point to two or more controllers at the same time. CONSTITUTION: Controller information related to a first controller is received in an SIP active communication end point. In the communication end point, controller information related to a second controller is received. The controller information related to the first controller and the second controller is analyzed. The communication end point uses a discovery module(116) based on the analyzed result in order to select at least one among the first controller and the second controller as a controller.
