PURPOSE: A head cap of a shock absorber is provided to save the manufacturing cost by decreasing the amount of the remaining part after perforating a rectangular board in a rectangular steel plate. CONSTITUTION: A head cap(100) of a shock absorber is combined to an eye and a piston rod, and the head cap is composed of a hemispherical hollow part(110), plane arc parts(120), and curved arc parts(130). An insert hole is formed in the hemispherical hollow part to insert the piston rod to the upper part. The plane arc parts are formed to be symmetrically and horizontally extended to the radial direction from the outer peripheral edge of the hemispherical hollow part. The curved arc parts are formed to be vertically and downwardly extended at each outer peripheral edge of the plane arc parts.
