TYPE-CONVERSION METHOD FOR CARTRIDGE CHIP

PURPOSE: A method of changing a type of a cartridge chip is provided to change a cartridge chip used in a previous type device by a cartridge chip suitable for a type of a target type by changing a driving program in the cartridge chip and changing data per a type. CONSTITUTION: A method of changing a type of a cartridge chip comprises the following steps. A driving program loaded in a cartridge chip(200) is changed. In the driving program changing step, a binary code of a driving program for a target type is re-loaded in a program memory of the cartridge chip. Or data per a type recorded in the cartridge chip is changed. Or both the driving program loaded in the cartridge chip and the data per a type recorded in the cartridge chip are changed.
