PURPOSE: An apparatus for expanding the diameter of a heat transfer tube for a pin tube is provided to improve safety in expanding the diameter of a heat transfer tube by clamping the end part of the heat transfer tube with the apparatus for expanding the pipe. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(10) for expanding the diameter of a heat transfer tube for a pin tube fixes a heat transfer pin on the outer circumference of the heat transfer tube by pushing a pipe expanding ball inserted into the end of the heat transfer tube with the pressure of the high pressure water and by expanding the diameter of a heat transfer tube. The apparatus for expanding the pipe comprises a body(11), a tube clamper, a clamping cylinder(12), and a clamping hub(15). A pipe expanding nozzle for spraying high pressure water is inserted into the center. A tube clamper(17) is connected to the front part of the body to insert the pipe expanding nozzle into the inside. The tuber clamper is formed of a tapered pipe. In the tube clamper, a plurality of a cut part for clamping is cut and formed along the longitudinal direction.
