Coarse grinding is made to remove 0.1 mm- to 0.8 mm-thick layer, preferable from of 0.2 to 0.4 mm. Then during final polishing, 0.01 mm- to 0.2 mm-thick layer is removed using the device with abrasive belt fitted on tangential contact wheel actuated to preset RPM.
