FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and namely to ophthalmology and can be used for adaptation of incised sclera wounds. There used is the device made from biologically inert areactive flexible elastic material in the form of two interconnected symmetrical elliptical bottles in the form of flattened figure eight, which repeat sclera configuration in the incised wound area. At that, elliptical bottles are interconnected in the form of a tube with the length corresponding to sclera thickness. With local anaesthesia the half of the device is put into the sclera cut, and the other part thereof is arranged in conjunctival cavity. After that the device is filled with inert gas on both sides through the hole made in the external half till the cut is sealed. ^ EFFECT: method provides complete sealing of sclera wound and prevents complications. ^ 1 dwg, 1 ex |
