FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to food and feed supplements and application thereof. Both food and feed supplements include as the main component at least one carboxylic acid and/or oxysalt, iron component and vitamins B6, B9 and B12 in amounts corresponding at least to those that can be theoretically consumed during metabolism of present COOH-groups of carboxylic acid. These supplements can also include desiccant and antioxidant. They will have pH from 2.0 to 6.0 as dissolved in water. Both supplements are characterised with amount of vitamins B6, B9 and B12 ranging from 0.5 to 30 mg, 0.1-10 mg and 1-1500 mkg/gram of dry weight of pure carboxylic acids in supplement, correspondingly. As nutrition for people the supplement is used by means of introducing from 0.1 to 4.4 mg of daily intake of dry weight of pure carboxylic acids in supplement per a kilogram of body weight. This supplement can be applied as feed for animals in amounts from 0.5 to 15 grams of dry supplement per kilo of dry feed during physical activities or competition, as well as in feed for horses by mixing from 1 to 15 grams of dry weight of pure carboxylic acids in supplement per 100 kg of horse weight with normal horse feed. ^ EFFECT: supplements according to the invention enable to improve level of health and activity, particularly in stress state and under conditions when high achievements are required, for example during training and competitions. ^ 13 cl, 5 tbl, 6 ex |
