FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of combined production of 8-(5-hexylthiophan-2-yl) caprylic acid and 8-(5-hexyl-3,4-dehydrothiophan-2-yl) caprylic acid, which can be used as bactericides, medicinal preparations, additives to oils and hydraulic liquids. The method involves reacting elementary sulphur with 9,12-octadecadienoic acid in a cavitation field, formed by ultrasonic waves at frequency of 22 kHz, for two hours. The proposed method allows for obtaining a mixture of 8-(5-hexylthiophan-2-yl)caprylic acid and 8-(5-hexyl-3,4-dehydrothiophan-2-yl) caprylic acid in a single-stage method using available initial reagents with high regioselectivity. Output of 8-(5-hexylthiophan-2-yl)caprylic acid is 56% and output of 8-(5-hexyl-3,4-dehydrothiophan-2-yl) caprylic acid is 39%. ^ EFFECT: increased yield ratio. ^ 1 ex |
