FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisation of harvesting and can be applied for determining destruction time of corn cob stem being torn from corn stalk at the moment of its impact with cob-snapping plates of corn harvester. Method for determining destruction time of corn cob stem being torn from corn stalk includes stalk pulling at given rate and cob impact with cob-snapping plates. Novelty of the invention consists in the following: stylus is overhung on cob at corn stalk in plane therewith, rotating screen is installed near cob-snapping plates, then cob impacts the area free from stalks, the latter being fed by turns, and trace of rotating screen movement is registered to determine destruction time of corn cob stem by given function. ^ EFFECT: simplification of the process of measurement and reduction of financial expenditure ensuring to develop process of cob-snapping taking into account time of cob destruction. ^ 2 dwg |
