FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy, endocrinology and sport medicine, and can be used in diagnostics of obesity degree in people of both sexes. Caliperometry and calculation of active body weight are carried out. Active body weight (AW) is calculated by formula AW = body weight * (100% - percent of subcutaneous fat)/100. Additionally passive body weight (PW) is calculated by formula PW = General body weight - active body weight. Ratio of PW to AW is calculated and obesity degree is found. If ratio value does not exceed 0.250.025 for men and 0.350.035 for women - norm is determined, if ratio value is 0.28 - 0.30 and 0.39 - 0.42, respectively, presence of I degree obesity is determined, if value is 0.31 - 0.32 and 0.43 - 0.45, respectively, presence of II degree obesity is determined, and if value is higher than 0.33 and 0.46, respectively, presence of III degree obesity is determined. ^ EFFECT: method allows to evaluate ratio of active and passive body weight and objectively determine degree of obesity. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex |
