A test device for detecting an analyte suspected of being present in a liquid sample, comprising a reservoir compartment, a test compartment comprising at least one test element, a port and a rotatable sample collection well 130, wherein the rotatable sample collection well 130 is situated within the port and comprises an aliquot outlet and a reservoir outlet; and wherein the rotatable sample collection well 130 is rotatable between a first position where fluid communication is provided through the reservoir outlet between the rotatable sample collection well 130 and the reservoir compartment, and wherein the aliquot outlet is closed and a second position where fluid communication is provided through the aliquot outlet between the rotatable sample collection well 130 and the test compartment and the test element, and wherein the reservoir outlet is closed.
