A method of assembling a drug delivery device comprising the steps of a) providing a unitary housing 2, a cartridge 4, a drive mechanism, a dose dial mechanism, and optionally a drug delivery mechanism, and b) inserting or introducing into the unitary housing 2 the cartridge 4, the drive mechanism, the dose dial mechanism, and optionally the drug delivery mechanism, whereby the cartridge 4, the drive mechanism, the dose dial mechanism, and optionally the drug delivery mechanism are not mechanically engaged with the unitary housing 2. |
