The support (2) has a base plate (4) fixed on bottom of a glove box, and an angular orientation plate (6) mounted pivotably on the base plate around a vertical axis (Z). Immobilization units immobilize rotation of the plate (6) relative to the base plate. A carriage (8) is mounted on the plate (6) to slide along a longitudinal axis (X) orthogonal to the vertical axis. Translation immobilization units immobilize translation of the carriage relative to the plate (6). The carriage having vise fixation units, and the plates are separable. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a support in a glove box.
