PURPOSE: A method for attaching metal-clad is provided to perform the welding of metal-clad to a electrode terminal of a battery cell consecutively, thereby improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for attaching metal-clad by cutting the metal-clad in a certain size and attaching it on the upper part of a first electrode terminal comprises the steps of: positioning the end part of a metal clad sheet(112) drawn from a supply roll(110) on the upper part of the first electrode terminal without the help of a winding roll; welding at least one metal clad sheet positioned on the upper part of the first electrode terminal; cutting the metal clad sheet in a predetermined size; and pressurizing the metal clad to be adhered closely to the upper part of the first electrode terminals.
