The invention relates to a novel and well defined Colvate form of olanzapine which contains 2 molecules of water and 1 molecule of isopropanol per 2 molecules of olanzapine, and which can be convened into other, forms of olanzapine, in particular form (I) of olanzapine, as well as processes for preparing form (I) olanzapine.
