The panel (1) has an upper crosspiece (2) defining an upper side of the panel, and a lower crosspiece defining a lower side of the panel. Lateral uprights (4, 5) connect the upper and lower crosspieces. Upper gripping cavities (6) are formed in front or rear surface of the panel in underside, separated from the upper crosspiece and permit introduction of fingers of a hand of operator for moving the panel. Each cavity is formed in a body in the form of an integral parallelepiped case of the panel, where the cavity is formed by a peripheral wall and a bottom wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting a front panel.
