Salts and polymorphs of a pyrrole-substituted indolinone compound

Disclosed is a crystalline maleate salt of 5-[(Z)-(5-fluoro-2-oxo-1,2-dihydro-3H-indol-3-ylidene)methyl]-N-[(2S)-2-hydroxy-3-morpholin-4-ylpropyl]2,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxamide, wherein said salt has a powder X-ray diffraction pattern comprising peaks at diffraction angles (2theta) of 13.1 degrees and 15.9 degrees.
