PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition capable of obtaining a cured coating film having a high hardness.

SOLUTION: This thermosetting resin composition comprises: a binder resin (A), aminotriazines (B) and a solvent (C), wherein the binder resin (A) is a copolymer comprising as constituting monomers, an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride (A1) and an unsaturated compound having hydroxyl groups (A2); and the amount of the unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride (A1) is 25 to 65 mol% and the amount of the unsaturated compound having hydroxyl groups (A2) is 35 to 75 mol%, based on the total number of moles of the unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride (A1) and the unsaturated compound having hydroxyl groups (A2).
