MOLD RELEASE FILM FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL POLARIZING PLATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release film which is excellent in processing suitability and prevention of foreign substances from mixing in widening and speed increase of a manufacturing process of a liquid crystal polarizing plate.

SOLUTION: The film has a mold release layer on one side of a polyester film with ≥1,460 mm of the film width and ≤15 degrees of the orientation angle. The heat shrinkage ratios in the longitudinal direction of both ends of the film when maintaining for 5 minutes under 140°C atmosphere are ≤2.5%. The difference of the heat shrinkage ratios in the longitudinal direction of both the ends of the film under the same condition is ≤0.2%. The maximum of an absolute value of electrostatic potential in the film width direction when unwinding the film from a film roll is ≤20 kV. The difference of the maximum and minimum of electrostatic potential is ≤20 kV.
