PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more precisely calculate reliability in detecting a face area in an image. SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with: a face region detection part for detecting a face region as an image region corresponding to the image of the face in an object image shown by object image data; and an organ region detection part for detecting an organ region as an image region corresponding to the image of the organ of the face in the detected face region. The image processor is provided with: a reliability calculation part for calculating face region reliability showing probability that the face region is truly an image region corresponding to the image of the face based on the detection result of the face region and the detection result of the organ region for the detected face region.
