PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up apparatus and an image pick-up system constructed to prevent occurrence of line noise due to a random noise component produced in a power supply circuit that supplies a reference potential. SOLUTION: An image pick-up apparatus includes: an area sensor in which sensor elements are two-dimensionally arranged on a substrate; a reader which includes a reset-enabled amplifier and outputs signals from the sensor elements; and a power supply circuit, for supplying a reference potential to at least either the sensor elements or the reader, wherein the reference potential includes at least either a bias potential for applying a bias voltage to the sensor elements or a reset potential of the amplifier, and is supplied from the power supply circuit through a low-pass filter (103) provided between at least either the sensor elements or the reader and the power supply circuit.
