PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple heat pump type steam/hot water generating device capable of retrieving condensation heat of a refrigerating device which has been exhausted and let go to the outside, effectively using the condensation heat by generating necessary steam and hot water in a heat pump circuit composed of a multiple coolant circuit, achieving stabilization of operation of the refrigerating device and reduction in equipment cost of the refrigerating device, and contributing to energy saving. SOLUTION: The condensation heat of an exterior refrigerator 2 is retrieved by a waste heat retrieving heat exchanger 9 in a low-dimension side coolant circuit 3. The retrieved heat is transmitted to a high-dimension side coolant circuit 4 via a cascade condenser 5. In heat exchangers 15, 16 of the high-dimension side coolant circuit 4, water supplied from outside is heated by the heat of the coolant circulating in the high-dimension side coolant circuit 4, which generates either the steam or the hot water, or both of them at the same time.
