PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device for a four-wheel driven vehicle to which an extra low range can be added without greatly reforming the transmission device. SOLUTION: On an idler shaft 31, an extra low gear 43 is provided for meshing with an input shaft 10. When the extra low range is selected by shifting operation, the rotation of the input shaft 10 is transmitted from the extra low gear 43 via the idler shaft 31 to a driving shaft 30 and also transmitted from the extra low gear 43 via the idler shaft 31 and an intermediate shaft (an intermediate transmission mechanism) 32 to an output shaft 11.
