PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for assisting standing-up from a toilet bowl, which assists forward centroid movement of a care-receiver or the like when standing up, prevents the falling to the back of the care-receiver or the like simultaneously, and does not easily interfere with the toilet bowl. SOLUTION: The device for assisting standing-up from the toilet bowl includes: a pressing member 10a for pressing the lower back part of a user of the toilet bowl 1 to the front; a pressing member forward/backward movement part 10b provided on the rear side of the toilet bowl 1 for moving the pressing member 10a forward and backward relative to the toilet bowl 1; a pressing member elevating/lowering movement part 10c provided on the rear side of the toilet bowl 1 for elevating and lowering the pressing member 10a; and a pressing operation control section 8 for controlling the operations of the pressing member forward/backward movement part 10b and the pressing member elevating/lowering movement part 10c so as to link them with each other.
