The invention relates to sintered hollow bodies wherein a hollow space is enclosed by a metal or ceramic shell. The aim of the invention is to provide sintered hollow bodies having an exterior shape deviating from completely spherical, so that new areas of application can be developed thereby or improved properties can be achieved for applications. In a sintered hollow body according to the invention, the shell is designed so that at least one contour element is formed with the shell on the surface of the hollow body. |
