<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique suppressing drop in power generation efficiency in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell includes a power generating body formed by arranging electrodes on both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane; a gas passage forming member arranged on at least one surface of the power generation body and made of a porous body; and a separator arranged on the surface on the opposite side to the surface where the power generation body is arranged of the gas passage forming member, and the gas passage forming member includes a first member and a second member arranged on the power generation body side and having hydrophilic nature higher than that of the first member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
