<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-speed communication and acquisition of a picked-up image by a visible light communication system as a camera while suppressing manufacturing costs low by using simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The visible light communication system includes a light emitting device and a light receiving device. The light receiving device includes a compound-eye imaging device and a microcomputer for control. The compound-eye imaging device includes one CCD 44, nine optical lenses 41, a stop member 42 for cutting unnecessary external light incidence, and eight band-pass filters 43 transmitting light in specified wavelength bands. The microcomputer for control determines whether an image is present in each of section area on the CCD 44 where light transmitted through the band-pass filters 43 is imaged, and decodes transmitted communication data. Further, the microcomputer for control generates a picked-up image based upon an image signal corresponding to the image in the section area 43S where light which is not transmitted through the band-pass filters 43 on the CCD 44 is imaged. Consequently, the light receiving device performs the high-speed visible light communication and acquires the picked-up image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
