HEAT SENSITIVE RECORDING BODY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording body which has a uniform heat sensitive recording layer formed with a low coating amount by a curtain coating method, and is excellent in image quality.

SOLUTION: The heat sensitive recording body is achieved by forming the heat sensitive recording layer by the curtain coating method using a coating material containing a polymer molecular association type thickener in the heat sensitive recoding body containing a colorless or light-colored electron donating leuco dye and an electron accepting coloring agent on a support. The coating material containing the polymer association type thickener particularly contains a nonionic surfactant having acetylene group, particularly desirably contains a nonionic surfactant having a bilaterally symmetric structure, so that the image quality of the heat sensitive recording body becomes better.
