<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller of a piezoelectric actuator which can shorten the sweep control period, even when the resonance frequency changed, and can attain high- efficiency drive by reducing the power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A drive controller 100 of a piezoelectric actuator inlcudes a drive circuit 105 which supplies a drive signal to a piezoelectric element 17, a means for detecting the vibrational state of a vibrating body, and a means for controlling the drive frequency of a driving signal. The frequency control means includes a voltage regulation circuit 104 and a voltage-controlled oscillator 106; changes the frequency in the frequency control direction from an initial frequency, i. e. a frequency shifted which is reverse to the frequency control direction from an optimal drive frequency, during previous drive control of the piezoelectric actuator; and controls the drive frequency and increases or decreases, based on the vibration state detected by the vibrational state detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
