<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which a state operated with a manipulator is remotely controlled by using a communication command from an external part, in an electronic musical instrument provided with a manipulator of setting/changing various kinds of parameter values. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic musical instrument provided with the manipulator of setting/changing various kinds of parameter values, it is determined whether the received communication command is a pseudo manipulator operational command which produces an event as if the manipulator is falsely operated and, when the received communication command is the pseudo manipulator operational command, a manipulator operational event according to the pseudo manipulator operational command is produced. On the basis of the production of the manipulator operational event, a processing in accordance with the operation of the corresponding manipulator is performed. When the pseudo manipulator operational command is a command which dictates an operation of a slider with a moving function, the position of the slider with the moving function may be set in accordance with the pseudo manipulator operational command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
