<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a landing call and destination floor registration by operation at an elevator hall. <P>SOLUTION: When a passenger touches an information display portion for a desired floor on a shop information board, a photodetector 6 is blocked from receiving infrared ray along the information display portion. At this point, a light receiving state control section 14 acknowledges the photodetector number of the photodetector 6 and installation floor information thereon, and based on the acknowledged photodetector number, rewrites information on presence of light reception associated with the photodetector number of the photodetector 6 receiving the infrared ray 7 transmitted along the surface of the information display portion for the desired floor to "blocking". A selected floor discrimination section 15 discriminates a selected floor associated with the "blocked" information on presence of light reception. A landing call registration section 16 registers the landing call on the acknowledged installation floor.
