<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering switch that enables an operator to reliably and simply operate it without impairing traveling safety of a vehicle even when vibration is suddenly transmitted to a steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: A steering switch 10 fitted to a vehicle steering wheel has an operation rod 14 operated by a thumb of a hand-holding the steering wheel. The tip of the operation rod 14 is fitted with a contact part 12. The contact face 13 of the contact part is recessed while being curved along the finger cushion.
