PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance the superiority of a processing method using a developed blank by properly joining the joint portions simultaneously when molding. SOLUTION: In a method for production of a container-like molded body, the joint portions 11a, 11a of flange parts 11 are mutually joined simultaneously when molding by using a developed blank 1 in which the flange parts 11 are formed by cutting off several places of the outer peripheral part in the blank, and pressing the rotor rods 2 on the flange part-contacting points c at which the flange parts are merged in association with the progress of processing.
