PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier which is reduced in the occupation area, for making a terminal compact and low cost. SOLUTION: The power amplifier 13 has an inter-stage matching circuit 18 connected between a first amplifier 16 and a second amplifier 17. The inter-stage matching circuit 18 includes first and second matching circuits 19 and 20 that correspond to first and second transmission signals TX1 and TX2. At this time, the first matching circuit 19 is constituted of a common circuit portion 21 and a first individual circuit portion 22, and the second matching circuit 20 is constituted of the common circuit portion 21 and a second individual circuit portion 23. Furthermore, a switching circuit 26, which selectively connects the first and second individual circuit portions 22 and 23 to the common circuit portion 21, is provided between the common circuit portion 21 and first and second individual circuit portions 22 and 23.
