PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger having a high efficiency and a high output. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has heat transfer pipes 3 tightly held, passing through the through-holes 14 formed in a large number of plate fins 1, and a sheath heater 4 inserted in the heat transfer pipe 3. Accordingly, close contact of the heat transfer pipe 3 to the plate fin 1 is improved by enlarging the diameter of the pipe, and heat of the sheath heater 4 is surely transmitted to the heat transfer pipe 3. Thereby, heat transfer to the plate fins 1 from the sheath heater 4 is surely performed, and highly efficient heat exchange can be materialized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
