PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving waterproofness of a waterproof connector. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector 200 includes a male housing 200a and a female housing 200b which are fitted to each other. A covered wire 210 connected to a male terminal 212 is housed in the male housing 200a, and the covered wire 220 connected to a female terminal 222, which is mutually fitted to the male terminal 212 is housed in the female housing 200b. Then, the high-pressure gas having a pressure higher than the external pressure of the waterproof connector 200 is introduced inside the waterproof connector 200, from a void between a wire 210a and a covered member 210b of the covered wire 210.
