PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge stably holding a leader member when not used. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge 10 is provided with: a case 12 singly housing a reel 20 on which a recording tape T is wound; a leader member 30 fitted to the end of the recording tape T and having flange parts 36 formed at both ends; an opening 18 formed in the case 12 for drawing out the leader member 30; a holding part 40 formed at the case 12 and holding the outer surfaces 36A of the flange parts 36 of the leader member 30 in the vicinity of the opening 18; and an elastic presser member 70 which is provided at the case 12 and presses the side surfaces 36C of the flange pars 36 of the leader member 30. A width H1 in the vertical direction of the distal end part 76 of at least one side of the elastic presser member 70 to be brought into contact with the side surfaces 36C of the flange parts 36 is expanded more than a width H2 in the vertical direction of the rotation fulcrum part 74A of the elastic presser member 70 to be brought into contact with the side surfaces 36C of the flange parts 36.
