摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently warm up such a portion requiring the warm-up as a cylinder block and heater in response to a state of a combustion engine in a cooling device for an internal combustion engine switching a flow path of coolant such as cooling water. SOLUTION: A cooling device (100) is equipped with a coolant flow path which includes a first branch flow path (3) passing through the inside of a wall of a body part (11), a second branch flow path (4) branching off from the first branch flow path at a branching point, merging with the first branch flow path at a merging point and passing through the inside of the wall of an exhaust manifold (14), a merging flow path (5) provided with an heat exchanging part passing through the insides of heat generating means (26, 27) and connecting between the merging point and branching point, a control valve (24) which is arranged in the merging point and which can increase/decrease a first flow rate of a coolant flowing from the first branch flow path to the merging flow path and a second flow rate of a coolant flowing from the second branch flow path to the merging flow path, and a control means (40) for controlling the control valve so as to change a relative ratio of the first and second flow rates in response to a state of an internal combustion engine.
