The device has a longitudinal housing (14) and a valve (17) held at housing and guided between two positions in a longitudinally moving manner. A cam (25) is provided, which is actuated by the valve and has a valve side coupling element (30). The valve side coupling element is brought in contact with an engagement part (31) of furniture part in a form-fit manner. The coupling element is formed as a swiveling interlock (34), which is held at the valve around a swiveling axis (33) running approximately transverse to moving direction in pivoting manner.
