Provided is a device for manufacturing glass gob by dropping a molten glass droplet into a drop adjusting member and by dropping the fine droplet of the molten glass having passed through a through hole, into a receiving portion. The temperature of the drop adjusting member is controlled to suppress the temperature change which is caused at the beginning of the operation of the manufacturing device, thereby to suppress the mass dispersion or the dropping position dispersion of the fine droplet of the molten glass to pass through the through hole of the drop adjusting member.
