PURPOSE: A surface emitting lamp is provided to perform a brightness diming drive per an independent discharge region by including two independent discharge division region or more. CONSTITUTION: A surface emitting lamp includes a lamp body(30) and an electrode(70). The lamp body includes a plurality of discharge spaces. The lamp body generates and emits the light. An electrode applies the voltage to the lamp body. The lamp body includes at least two independent discharge division regions dividing the discharge space. The discharge division region includes a region division part(40,50) and a discharge space division part(60). The region division part divides the inside of the lamp body. The discharge space division part divides the inside of the discharge division part divided by the region division part.
