<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a hybrid radio communication system, which has a radio tag and a tag reader using two different communication system for radio communication, which makes a response even when the battery of a radio tag is run out. <P>SOLUTION: A tag reader 2 of the hybrid radio communication system 1 is provided with: a designation means 23 for designating either a normal interrogating signal or a special interrogating signal to be transmitted to a radio tag 5; a first reader communication part 21 for transmitting any interrogating signal by a first communication system according to the destination, and for receiving a first response signal by a first communication system; and a second reader communication part 22 for receiving a second response signal by a second communication system. On the other hand, the radio tag 5 is provided with: a battery 52; a first tag communication part 53 for transmitting a first response signal by using a voltage generated from the special interrogating signal when receiving the special interrogating signal; and a second communication part 54 for transmitting a second response signal by using the supply voltage of a battery 52 when the first tag communication part 53 receives the normal interrogating signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
