<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure proper reception quality, while reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: Variable gain amplifiers 142-1 and 142-2 have a variable gain function and regulate the amplitudes of an in-phase component I and a quadrature component Q, output from an orthogonal transform section 143 to a preset amplitude; A/D converters 145-1 and 145-2 perform A/D conversion of the in-phase component I and quadrature component Q after regulation; a power calculation section 147 calculates power of a received signal after A/D conversion; a variable gain setting section 141 sets the gains of the variable gain amplifiers 142-1 and 142-2, according to the power calculated at the power calculation section 147; a disturbance wave power calculation section 148 calculates the disturbance wave power; and an AGC mode switching section 149 changes the power calculation interval or the power calculation cancel interval of the power calculation section 147, according to the disturbance wave power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
