PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a fair game even under the circumference of causing a trouble in a random number generation circuit in a game machine which has a random number extraction means for extracting random numbers generated electronically by responding to the operations by players and generates game states advantageous for the players when the values of the random numbers are as specified. SOLUTION: In case of the shutdown of the power source, game information is stored and preserved. A game control program contains an abnormality of random number monitoring processing for monitoring troubles of a random number block 1700af (random number generation circuit). In the random number abnormality monitoring processing, when a trouble of the random number generation circuit is detected, a game stop processing for stopping the progress of the game involved is executed. In the game stop processing, an unlimited loop is executed which sets hot start information while resetting a watch dog timer. At the restarting of the power source, based on the hot start information, the game is executed back to the position immediately before the trouble was caused in the random number generation circuit.
