PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering switch that enables an operator to reliably and simply operate it without impairing traveling safety of a vehicle even when vibration is suddenly transmitted to a steering wheel. SOLUTION: A steering switch 10 fitted to a vehicle steering wheel has an operation piece 11 operated by a thumb of a hand-holding the steering wheel. The operation piece 11 is held so as to be projectable/sinkable with respect to a first holding member while being oscillable in the upper, lower, right, and left directions. The end of the operation piece 11 is recessed while being curved along the finger cushion. Both ends of the right and left directions are provided with each protrusion 11b. The steering switch 10 is switched when detecting a push-in direction and tilt in the four directions of upper, lower, right, and left directions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
