The marker has a hollow cylinder (1) that is made of spring-elastic material and opens at front sides. A continuous hole (2) is and aligned parallel to a longitudinal axis of the hollow cylinder. A marking graphics (7) e.g. symbols, is provided on an external wall (4) of the hollow cylinder. An external profile (41) of the external wall and an interior profile (51) of an inner wall (5) of the hollow cylinder are corresponding circular arc segments. The circular arc segments are arranged concentric to each other. An opening angle of the circular arc segments has a range of 50 to 70 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a hose marker.
