摘要 <p>The ignition circuit (1) has a shut-off logic (10) equipped to protect the ignition circuit and/or an ignition coil (6) against damages by inflated voltages and/or currents and/or temperatures. A detector circuit (20) detects an electromagnetic vulnerability (EMV)-induced disturbance and affects the shut-off logic. The detector circuit is formed to increase a threshold value for activation of the shut-off logic in the case of a detected EMV-induced disturbance. The detector circuit recognizes a signal with a frequency portion above a fixed critical frequency as the EMV-induced disturbance. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an ignition circuit for controlling an ignition coil of an internal-combustion engine.</p>
