A piezoelectric device includes a piezoelectric oscillation element in a package. The piezoelectric oscillation element includes: two bar-shaped oscillation legs; a center leg arranged between the two oscillation legs; a connection unit which connects one end of each of the two oscillation legs to one end of the center leg; and a protrusion connected to the other end of the center leg and protruding in a direction at a predetermined angle excluding 0 and 180 degrees with respect to the length direction of the center leg so as to prevent interference with a drive leg. With this configuration, even when the piezoelectric device size and thickness are reduced, it is possible to prevent interference between a support point of the center leg which supports the oscillation element and a conductive electrode, which in turn improves the insulation efficiency between the conductive electrodes and reduces generation of a shortcircuit between the conductive electrodes.
